This is a statement from a ODSP worker that used to be an OW worker for 5 years.
The
system generated letters to ODSP clients are extremely difficult for recipients
to understand and for ODSP Caseworkers to explain. In an effort to cover legislative requirements the system
generated letters often fail to adequately explain the purpose and intent of
the letter. We are hopeful that the new
computer system SSSMP will make it simpler for the client to understand what is
being requested and why.
